A Moon for the Misbegotten
This play first took to the stage in 1957 and is still in huge demand today. Starring the
Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey; Howard Davies has directed a powerful timeless classic. This heart touching story of Josie (the down to earth daughter) and her conniving father (the bullying widower) who live on a run down farm house. Josie falls in love with the farm’s heir Jim Tyrone; an alcoholic actor. Josie’s father spots an opportunity to abuse and manipulate the situation into something he can benefit off. He plans for Josie to seduce Jim and get a quick marriage proposal from him to secure their finances.
