The Winner of The Best Musical at the Olivier Awards reunites the power and skill behind the world renowned film to create this highly acclaimed stage adaptation.

Billy Elliot is the heart warming, inspiring story of a boy who demonstrates fierce determination in the face of the 1980’s mining prejudices. Billy Elliott is a boy with huge will and ambition, going against the common attitudes and views of the miners in Northern England, he harbours secret desires to pursue a career in ballet at the prestigious Royal Ballet School .

Despite attempts, by his father and brother, to make Billy take boxing lessons, Billy resists and with the help of his ballet teachers he goes against the strong manly beliefs that he is surrounded by. This story of triumph over adversity has captured the hearts of millions around the World, making it one of the most popular West End shows to see in London this year.
