Fiddler on the Roof
In the small village of Anatevka, an old-fashioned dairyman Tevye has raised his children as his Jewish forefathers would have done. Now it is time for his daughters to be matched and wed. However with Russia in the midst of upheavel in 1905, Tevye is soon to learn that the young are guided by their hearts rather than their elders.
This much-loved stage and screen musical has been a favourite with audiences since it first showed in 1964; winning a phenomenal 9 Tony Awards, the stage production was remade for screen and unsuprisingly became a smash-hit Oscar winner. Featuring old favourites; Tradition, Matchmaker and If I were a Rich Man. This exciting new production promises all the success of past productions as well as boasting Olivier-Award winning Henry Goodman in its cast!
