The Tempest
Shakespeare's The Tempest tells the story of Prospero who was the Duke of Milan until his brother Antonio stole his position. Prospero escaped with his daughter Miranda to the island to plot his revenge. The pair have lived on the island for 12 years with the books that are the source of Prospero's magic powers. He raises a tempest which creates a huge shipwreck to inflict pain on his enemies and to make things right for him and his daughter once more. Ulitmately Prospero finds peace and the ability to forgive rather than waging war on his enemies.
Patrick Stewart (Star Trek) plays Prospero.
