Treats Christopher Hampton's 1975 dark comedy follows the love triangle between Ann (Billie Piper), Dave (Kris Marshall) and Patrick (Laurence Fox). We see Ann attempting to rebuild her confidence after splitting from her egotistical boyfriend Dave. So the young newspaper professional responds to the break-up by starting a relationhship with the office bore Patrick. Inevitably Dave re-emerges and wants to win back his love but who will Ann choose? Confronted with this dilemma we see Ann battle with who and what she really wants. Who will win the girl?
